The Week in Review: 10/19/18
It was another eventful week of news! I thought that we were going to see less big news with the royal family, but boy did we get a surprise! Harry and Meghan kickstarted their tour of Australia, but they also announced they are kickstarting their family! The palace has confirmed that the Duchess of Sussex is pregnant, and the baby will be born in spring of 2019. To add on to the royal baby news, the Duchess of Cambridge's sister gave birth to a baby boy, making Kate and William an aunt and uncle for the first time. Hopefully we will hear about the baby's name soon.
There's also been some more serious stuff going on. The President has made threats to Mexico that he will send military down to the border and shut it down, so I don't know if we should be concerned about that or not. Also, Canada just legalized marijuana, so we may see more changes worldwide on this manner. But something that has been most upsetting to learn about was the presumed abduction of Jayme Closs, 13, from Wisconsin. Jayme's parents were both killed, and the sheriff has said that he believes Jayme is in serious danger. Hopefully, someone will have a tip that can help officials find her and bring her home safely.
